I am 21 years old.When i was 12 i get operation with nuss procedure.After the operation everything was good.At 17 years old when bars pull out my chest my upper rib cage relapse with asymetrical on my right side.I need advice to corretion.Does Ravitch procedure or combination of nuss and ravitch can solve my problem?I need a specialist to make re-operation on me.I don't advice Mustafa Yuksel from Marmara University what he thinks only money and he say i can't do anything after all.Can you advice a surgeon from Europe or America?But mostly prefer Europe

It does look like the first operation wasn't that easy to do and maybe surgeons got scared about a re-do.

If you can afford it you could try in germany or arizona, I don't remember the name of the one in germany but he has very good success rate on adults. In arizona there is dr. Jaroszewski that does redo too.

Thank you for your advice simba.It asymetrical relapse, makes psychological problems on me.That's why i feel hopeless.I will try to contact US surgeons.I am open to any advice a surgeon.Please who read my topic.Help me

Seems to me that the first operation, even if you were very very young, didn't succed 100%
But that may have been due to the asymmetry of the defect that may have made the surgery more complex than usual.

In the post-operative photos it looks like you have some form of platythorax, wich is not a pectus excavatum and is something that many doctors never consider even remotely to be a defect at all (in my country they would say you look perfect, lol).

I believe that I've heard of many reports of redos that went nicely by Doctor Dawn Jaroszewski in arizona and Doctor Klaus Schaarschmidt in deutschland.
